Artificial Turf Accessories
Weeds & Pests Protection
Add a layer of protection from weeds and underground critters such as gophers and moles that also acts as an additional stabilizer for your synthetic lawn.
Drain Mat
Designated for maximum drainage and all-weather use are imperative; these drainage mats are installed directly under the turf. The drain core system can collect and transport as much as 16 gallons per minute.
Artificial Grass Infill
Infill for artificial grass is used to fill the space between the blade with a filler made of granular materials. Infill adds resilience and a natural feel that helps withstand typical daily traffic and activity without the added support.
Putting Green & Playground Pads
Our non-toxic, antimicrobial pads offer a soft, safe cushioning system beneath the turf and allow quick draining.
Hardware: Nails & Staples
For most sub-base conditions, using specialty nails and staples to secure edges and seams of turf is the standard practice. It keeps the turf in place for a clean, professional installation.
Seaming Tool & Adhesive
The best way to secure seams involves the adhesive method; the adhesive tape and glue helps to prevent the unraveling of turf backings and yarns and can be used to repair bubble installations.
Edging
Lawn edging forms a barrier between sections of lawn and garden space, complimenting your artificial grass landscape and keeps exterior nails and staples in place.
Golf Accessories
If you are considering installing a backyard putting green, you’ll benefit from the benefit of our prices on golf accessories such as golf cups, flags, and flagsticks.
Maintenance Supplies
While artificial grass is minimal maintenance, you may want to purchase extra accessories to clean it from debris, add a smell of freshly cut grass, or neutralize unpleasant odors.
ARTIFICIAL GRASS FOR HOMES & BUSINESSES
Landscapes • Putting Greens • Playgrounds • Sports • Dogs & Pets
Artificial Turf is becoming more popular each year: We offer a diverse range of artificial grass surfaces for a playground, putting green, dog run, or for your lawn at home or business. We are committed to quality, value, and customer satisfaction.
In addition to everyday wear, tear, and accidents, artificial turf owners should follow a few routine steps to maintain the quality and longevity of the artificial turf. Artificial turf generally lasts anywhere between 15 to 25 years, depending on its use. Following a routine of clearing the grass of debris, rinsing regularly, and cross brushing will help artificial turf achieve a long, useful lifespan.
Artificial Grass Care and Maintenance Tips
Caring for artificial turf involves the day-to-day management of what happens to your lawn. Between children, pets, and the elements, even artificial grass will need some stain management.
Clean, Rinse, Brush, Repeat:
There are essentially four main steps to taking care of your artificial grass regularly. These steps should be carried out monthly, if not weekly. They are:
They are:
- Remove debris from the grass. This is especially important after high winds or thunderstorms. Removing leaves, branches, and other debris will protect your grass from damage.
- Rinse the turf regularly. Use a hose with cool, clean water to remove dust and pollen. If you live in an area that receives rain often, you won’t have to rinse the grass with a hose nearly as much.
- Brush the grass against the grain in high-traffic areas. Cross brushing against the grain will help the grass avoid becoming matted and keep it looking strong and fresh.
Equipment You’ll Need
To routinely maintain and care for your artificial grass, you’ll want to be sure you have a few essential tools. You’ll need, first and foremost,
- A hose — if the area you live in receives rain frequently, this is less necessary but still helpful for rinsing the grass at will.
- A leaf blower is also helpful, or a lawn vacuum, for eliminating fallen leaves before they become ground into the artificial turf.
- A rake will also help keep the grass-fresh fibers fresh and unmatted — but avoid damaging metal bristles and use synthetic or plastic bristles instead, which is much gentler on artificial turf fibers.
